Hello,
The extract from Quality Magazine reads:
The Return/No Buy Zone is made up of rankings 5 through 8 if the product never is returned for an appearance or noise issue, and 4 through 8 if the product could be returned.
Could you explain what do they mean by "returned for an appearance" mean here? Do they mean the look of the product? Scratches, voids, cracks, wrong geometrical shape of the product? Let's imagine that the product in question is a car, for example.

| Returned for an appearance issue is exactly what you have suggested. It is a defect in the way the part looks, that results in it being returned to the factory. |
