She winced when Rose accused her of lying.
a.pulled back suddenly b.jumped foreard c.threw up her hands
I don`t konw which is the coorect answer.= =
And please tell me the reason why you choose the answer.

Hi
"Wince" means, in that case, to suddenly make an expression with your face that shows that you are feeling pain or embarrassment. |

however, my textbook`s answer is A (pull back suddenly)
I don`t know the reason.
Is the answer could be wrong? |

It's not wrong. Of the three answers to the question given above, #A is the best answer, because when you are feeling pain or embarrassment, and, to be exact, if sometihng surprises you, you might pull back suddenly. |
