| One question has confused me for a long time--why should I say " I go home on foot every day." not "I go to home on foot every day." ? Please help me solve the question, thanks a lot. |

| Because we don't use "to" with "home". You don't have to have a "rule" to understand why. That's just the way it is. Call it an exception if you like. |
