Hi

I need a SENCO , or someone who can answer these questions. PleeeeeeeeeZ Help ME

Could you explain the school policy for identifying and supporting children with learning difficulties from an initial concern to IEP ? Does the school also employ behavioral IEPs?

Who is involved in this process and at what stage e.g. class , teacher, parents, teaching assistant, the child, external support services educational psychologist, speech therapist, occupation therapist?

Do you support any children in the foundation stage classes?

If not why not? If yes, identify any in your own class and obtain their IEP. how you could help o support these children.

How many learning support teachers are there in the school ?

How many children are on learning support in the school and can you identify some of the common learning disorders that you have to manage ?

Could you outline your own personal role, duties and responsibilities as SENCO / Learning Support Coordinator within the school ?

Does the school have an 'inclusion' policy? If yeas, could you give copy of it . If not , what criteria they use to determine whether or not they will enroll a child in the school. If there is a screening test on entry, can give me a copy?

Are you trying to get someone who is currently in that position to answer this questionnaire? If so, you might have more luck on the Teacher Forums rather than the Student Forums. This forum is mostly to answer questions about English usage.
