It's a good thing we can see chinese frequently everywhere in all the globe. But i have no idea about the immigration, dose it always means a good thing,a sweet lover,or a beautiful life?If the person who has no feeling about his own motherland,if there is nothing on earth for him to do except for thinking about the immigration all day, what's kind of this man do you think about?Maybe you'd better go away, because you're nothing but rubbish to china.

The thing is that many people have this illusions about immigration, they think that HERE everything is so bad, life is boring, there's so little money, but THERE everything is so wonderful, so beautiful, so great!!!! I'm not Chinese (I was born in Russia, then immigrated to Israel and then to the U.S), but I think it's the same everywhere. I remember how when I left Israel everyone was so jealous, every girl thought that I'd be rich (because of course, in America EVERYBODY is rich), that I'd have this beautiful boyfriend, so many friends, that my life would be great.... So stupid. Here I am, in America. America has many problems, as any other country. Very, very few people are rich here. About 20% of the population doesn't have a health insurance. I have no boyfriend and hardly have any friends--about all my friends are immigrants as well. Rich?! Don't make me laugh...
People think that Australia, the U.S and other countries are waiting for them, that those countries would be just delighted to see them--but it isn't so. Most of the people in other countries treat immigrants and foreigners with a great suspicion, they don't like to see those weird guys coming here with their accents and stealing the jobs. OK, in the U.S it's not as bad as in Europe (for example) but still--nobody really wants you here, nobody cares about you a whole lot. What's more, you're always a foreigner here, you'll never have that feeling of "home" as you would in China (if you are Chinese). You have to start everything from the beginning--find a job, learning the language, find friends, get used to the culture, etc. If you are good in your homeland, it doesn't matter that you'll be good in another country. I still remember how frustrating it was for me, to be the best student in Israel and then come here, struggle with the English and be a medium students.
My advice--Leave your country only if you have nothing to lose, if you feel that everything is falling apart. If you have a job, a group of friends, your life is set, then don't leave that all. You have no idea how long it takes to re-gain (IF you regain it indeed!) all that in a new country.

I'd be happy to receive your reactions!!!!!!!
Liebe
