"within the next decade the country has a realistic chance of adding another trillion dollars worth of geopolitical clout to its bank account"
What the word clout means in this sentence?
It is more like a "coup" (when an organization is toppled in a coup) or a "punch"?
Which other word I could use to replace it? _________________ Stormy Weather. |

| Clout means power and influence in this sentence. Other words to replace it could be strong influence or political muscle or power. |
