Dear teachers,
Here is another question: When used before a noun, what's the difference between "worth"&"worthy of"? eg. we can say "worth a visit" and we can also say " worthy of a visit" but why we say "worthy of praise" but not "worth praise"? Why?

There is nothing_____ praise in what he has done. A. Worthy of B. worth
Why is the answer given A not B? thank you very much! |
