Which are correct? 3 & 5?
1. I am bored on my job.
2. I am bored of my job.
3. I am bored at my job.
4. I am bored on the job.
5. I am bored at the job.
6. I am bored with my job.
Thanks.

Depends upon what you want to say!
I am bored with my job= you are bored with your job, with the job itself, always.
I get bored on the job= you get bored on your job ("on" implies location. It means that you are bored with being on your job, not necessarily with the job itself).
I am bored with a job=you are bored with a certain, unspecific, not necessarily your, job.
Did you understand my explanations? I'm not an English teacher, so I'm not that good at explaining things... You might try the Teachers Forum to get more accurate explanations. |

Thanks Liebe,
Suppose the job is not a challenging one, and I don't have much to work on the job, so I am always bored. I would say, "I am bored with my job?"
I am bored on the job, could you give me one example?
Thanks.

Sure, here's an example:
I work at the local library. Usually I enjoy my job, there are always many interesting and friendly patrons, there's always someone who needs my help in something. But today I got really bored on my job. The library was almost empty, there was nobody who needed my help and nothing to do. |
