|
|
Hello everyone,
I listen to James Blunt new song, Blue On Blue,
here is part of the lyrics:
"What can I do if I can't get through to you? Baby, blue on blue..."
and I found that Blue On Blue is a military term, or it means very sadly,
but I can not understand it in the lyrics,
because I think those two explanations can correspond to the lyrics.
How can I explain it? |

It might just mean sadness on top of more sadness.
Or it might suggest self-destructive behaviour.
Or, being a song, it might just sound good and mean nothing!
Hope helps,
