Dear teacher:
In some movies or even in some daily conversations in the western country, I found that some people will say "I am well", while sometimes I heard the one "I am good". First want to ask you that both sentences are correct, right? And what the difference it is between the two?
I ask this question because we usually use well as a adverb when learning English, and I hope you can help me, thank you.

By the way, when will you use the word"workout"? Because I hear that word often in the GYM, can I also use it to describe finishing a 10 kms run or other sports?
Thanks again, and wish you have a nice day!

Originally "He's well" meant "He's in good health" and "He's good" meant "He's a good person" or "He does that well"

But now people use "I'm good" to mean "I'm fine" or "I don't need any more".

Workout was originally a static fitness routine, but is now used to describe any exercise which makes you feel like you've done a lot. So you could use it about running.

Hope helps,
Ian
