Dear,
What's the difference between menstruation, period, aunt flow, and menstrual cycle? How do I use them? How do I tell someone I didn't feel well because of it?
Thx! |

Menstruation and period mean the same thing, and describe what happens each month (if you are female between certain ages)
The cycle is the whole process: eggs moving, waiting and then the period if the egg is not fertilized.
And flow refers to how much blood comes out. Usually with the words light or heavy.
And talking about it depends a bit on who you're talking to, but you might just say : "I'm sorry, I don't feel well, I have my period."
Hope helps,
