Hello,
I'm not a fan of the subjunctive, but English grammar tests seem to love them. Are subjunctive constructions still used in everyday speech by native speakers?
In the following sentence, which subjunctive form should I use?
They have requested that we (sign) and (return) the document by Monday.
I would say: They have requested that we sign and return the document by Monday. Am I correct?
Thanks.

You can't tell it's subjunctive in your sentence. It would be better to use "he."
They have requested that he sign and return the document by Monday. |

But yes, correct, even if not illustrative. _________________ All my answers refer to British English.
