I Muni a house officer in your departemnt would not be able to come to the office from abc to xyz due to an urgent work. I"ll be grateful if you allow me leave for 10 days.
please correct this and tell me better way of saying the same thing |

please allow me to leave from abc to xyz is better because the person to whom you are writing needs to know exactly when you will not be there. |

Muni, if you are wondering why both are correct, it is because "allow me leave from abc to xyz" uses the word "leave" as a noun. In that case, it means "permission to do something," and is often used in the context that you presented--getting permission to be away from work or some other responsibility. |
