I feel that a last sentence in the paragraph below is bad grammar. Am I right?
What is that? Thanksgiving? Well, I know people say that it comes from the Pilgrims, that it was their celebration to give thanks for the first harvest in 1621. Actually, it has its roots in earlier festivals back in Europe. But don't tell anyone. It's a nice thing to believe is true. _________________ Hiromichi |

Oh! I answered the other one first. In this context, I can see what it means. Maybe "It's a nice thing to believe that is true." would work better. |

Well I have trouble with that sentence that way because the subject is so unclear. "It is nice to believe that's true." makes more sense. to me. |
