Hello. I’m college student in Japan and studying English very hard now. I become a college student in this spring, I’m just getting used to the life in university. Recently, I began to write news in English. I’m interested in the world news.
When I watched Dave’s ESL Café first time, a news caught my eye. The title of news is “Is Japanese Businessman a Working bee? “. This news is written about Japanese Businessman. It is said that Japanese Businessman is working too hard by many country people. I have ever heard this topic. I think that Japanese Businessman is working very hard too. Because the average working hours of the day is about 9 hours. When compared with other developed country such as the US or the UK, Businessman who live in these country is working about four hours a day. Furthermore, there are few holiday in Japan.
I think that Japan should reduce working hours and Japanese government had better make more holiday. I know a company which reduce working hour and have more day off. First I thought that the company product is going down. However, the company is being successful before. According this result, it increases the efficiency of work, so I agree that companies reduce work hour and make more day off.
