Im a Chinese college student, and I found my college is very boring, we take a few course, but most of the time we are free. In the spare time, many of my classmates dont know what to do to consume time, me too. We get up at 9:30 or even late. Of course, we also chat, the topic we talk are girls, money, lifeI dont want to live like this anymore. And surprisingly, my college is also famous in china. I wonder whether the others colleges student have the same feeling.

Hi, rigi_bbi.

At first, I thought this college was very boring, too. I could'nt study what I wanted to do. And I had much free time. I didn't know what to do.

But I found that I mustn't be in defensive position. We should try find something interesting for us.

Now, I'm enjoying my campus life. I read books every day. Reading is very interesting for me. There are many books in my college.

It is up to us whether campus life is enjoyable.
Do you think so?

Hello!

I agree natsumi-san's idea. :D

I think campus life is very fun, because I have much time to do anything.

If I have freetime, I go to lab, study, or sleeping.

Campus life is not equal to high scool life, so we must use this useful freetime in useful way.

First off, what do you guys mean by college, which is in America the very same thing as University. But I suppose by college life you mean pro-unversity life, right? Well, in which case, I'd say college life really sucks!! Everybody is cramped in a small little place learning what has been planned ahead. No fun. No breakthroughs. No much freedom.

Yet once you get outa college and into University, it feels like you've broken jail!! Everything in University is the incarnation of everythin in Paradise. You can do whatever you like, decide how hard you work freely, and go on dating hand in hand with ur galfriend as adults. Whatever you like, whatever you do!! Nobody gets in ur way!!

i don't agree with you, dear rigi_bbi.The days in university is memorable.Luckly,i changed my major the second year after i enter the college, and i enjoyed the new major very much.Time is free, and you can learn everything that you want to learn. And friends are the treasure that you can not omit. With them,i felt the time passed so rapidly. Also, the love in university make me so happy.it was pure and amazing.Wow,but i should use "was"here,so pity. So,enjoy your time in university. Cool

9:30 is a late time to get up? I always thought it was very early. I don't really have a "campus life," because I live in a house that is sort of far from campus, with my friends. I get up at 10:00, drive down to school to teach at 11:30. After that, I sit around in my office to surf the Net or read for awhile. Then I go to class, which lasts until about 5:00 or 6:00, and go home. I enjoy being at home more than being on campus, I would have to say. At home, I hang out with my friends, watch TV, and do schoolwork until about 2 or 3 AM, then go to bed and repeat again the next day.

Im now in a unfamous university in china,we even get so worried about our future jobs!We do find the campous life is boring, but in order to find a good job or to say have a good future, most of the students work very hard to expand their knowledge and experience ,so I consider if we have an ideal we also can enrich our campous daily life!

hello. I am a university student in Hong Kong. well...partly I agree with you. At the beginning of my campus life, I felt puzzled, not knowing how to spend my time. Everyday I just wasting my time on dozens of things. After a semester, I found that there are many things for us to spend time on. There is a target for me: improving myself to reach a bright future. Nowadays, I keep reading a lot of books, going to the self-access centre to learn languages, and doing physical exercises. That will make your campus life lively and significant. Do you agree with me?

Sometimes I think college life is just like high school life. Sad

I always have a lot of assignments to do. I feel very nervous and busy.

I can't stop to have a rest, because a lot of pressures around me. Some come from my classmates and roomates, some come from myself.
How can I escape these?

Dear Aniki. I think your solution is great. Reading books or something else is a good choice. Maybe I will have a try.

I 'm also a college student in China.I think most of the college students in china feel the same thing "BORING'',especially the freshman, when they first come in college, they just don't know what to do,everything is different from middle school in where they are told by their teachers and parents that if they don't make effort in studying, their future is finished.but in college no one will say this.
In spite of this I think when you are obliged to get cirtificates, you should give yourself pressure to study. After all,you cann't find a good job without some important cirtificated.

[img]Hello ~ guys !
I am a college student from Taiwan, and I am a freshman. It is great to study in college because you have lots of free time. You could do many things in your free time. We all should cherish our college life because it is the freest time in our life. We will have many pressure during we work in the society, and if we get married, we will have more duty and pressure. So we should do the right thing at the right time so that we will not regret one day. Now we are college students, ours duty is only study. It is the only pressure to us. So we should read as many books as we can and have as much fun as we can. We should do our best to find out our interets during college life. Use your time well, time passes like flowing water........

I'm a freshman in Japanese college. I'm enjoying my life at college. Every day there are chances to challenge, each day is new one. After entering this college, I started to study Italian which I have wanted to do. During my spare time, I study at libraly and compurter room. Sometimes, with my friends I walk around campus.
Now is the time to study! !
If we would work , it became difficult to spend time to study something.
This is my opinion. Very Happy
