For the handicaps beggars, i think we should send them to the "handicaps house" to make sure they get all the facilities that they really need. It look really pitiful if i saw the handicaps beggars sitting or lie down on the road...it's very dangerous to them also. There is no one to help them than us. Crying or Very sad

Beggars...

Not everyone in this world is lucky. There're unfortunate people out there who need our help. Beggars are part of them. Frankly speaking, I feel really sorry to see these poor people. I'll give them some money if I have extra in my pocket.
I also feel disappointed with those beggars who are I think are really healthy, have complete set of limbs, able to see, able to hear, able to walk, able to do everything, but still beg to others for money.
What makes me feel hesitant about them is the news about the illegal activities that hiding inside these begging activities. They take advantage of other people's kindness to make money. They even kidnapped and use kids to beg money for them. That annoys me a lot. These kind of illegal activities make those kindhearted people will think twice to donate their money.

Thats all.. Rolling Eyes

I think all the beggars isn't a real beggars, some of them look like poor but reality they're rich people and have big car, big house and a lot of money. They is young, strong and ability to work but they don't. They find the money from the people walk around. Some of them should have need help. This beggars if I see them I given my money because for RM 1 is not valueable for me but if I give them I can get sins from god. My heart go out if I see them........

I would agree with renisha that there should not be any beggars in our country. I think police should investigate if theres any syndicate behind it. POOR KID

I would like to see the option of depend in the poll.

If I see a guy who is begging to taking drugs I wont give him my money. Otherwise, there are many joung people who are done begging one of style of life. Why not they can look for a job?.

I has known that beggers taking a important sum of money a day an more than a normal worker. That is a great business. I prefer to give my money to other Non Gumentarle Associsation

Sometimes beggars deserve our money. They might need money badly for their daily needs. They may not able to work because of a certain reason. Often they may not have a good health to work or they are paralysed and are not able to do any work. On the other hand they may not deserve our money at all. So, we should not give money to them. Many of them pretend to be sick and look so poor and clad in dirty clothes to make the people symphatized them. When we give money to a beggar, the other beggars would come and ask for more money. Sometimes. the beggars take small children with them to attract people attention. The children might be a handicapped children, so people will symphatized them and are willing to give quite a lot of money. There are some cases where a syndicate use children to beg. They force the children to beg and then collect money from the children.

I strongly agree with you. If you are begging because of you wont by food, come on you can go to many association which can provide you food and hostelry.

I've given money to beggars before, but I've become increasingly cynical about it. Not because I think they're involved with gangs/syndicates, but because they may be likely to use it for alcohol or cigarettes.

to be generous is to bring blessing upon yourself, i think. to give without knowing if your action is helping or hurting is to admit that you cannot take the time to find out what kind of help is needed.

I usually think that beggars are poor because they don't do any work by themselves. But when I see the beggars with their pets I can't help giving them money. So when I see them there are arguments between the 'give money' side and the 'don't give money' side in my head. Which opinon is right? I still don't know what is best for beggars.

Why beggars be beggars?

I really think it is a shame for those healthy people or even people with some physical handicaps begging on the street(not including those earn with their talents and skills. They are supposed to earn by some kind of work, such as washing plates. There are many kind-hearted people who would like to offer the poor gays a job and pay for them. But laziness and other motives draw them to be beggars ).

When it comes to Slumdog Millionaire, I do think it is really hard for me to decide whether I would give my money to the disabled droved by cruel syndicate. Quite complicated!

Firstly, I'm quite sure that 99 % of beggars are people who are not able to live independently on one's one. The life for others' account is much easier than to earn money.
Secondly, I have never seen an abstinent beggar. I think they need money only for buying some alcohol or drugs. I agree with people who think that most of beggars are working for organized crime.
I have never gave them money and I'm not going to.
If you want to help to poor people you may donate money to charity organizations. I think it's best way to help. You may be quite more confident that donated money have gone to amend someone's life and bring something useful for others.
