Unpublished Princess Diana's photo at the time of her car accident was telecasted on US TV

CBS News telecasted an unpublished photo of Lady Diana,ex-princess of England just after the car accident in Paris in which she died in August,1997. The photo was a black-and-white copy of the photo.

In the photo, she lay ,looking toward her right side with a peaceful expression. Splashed blood stain was observed on her face with no injury.


The photo was confiscated by French authority from a paparachi, who was following her Mercedes. It was on the classified document of the authority with 4000 pages regarding the car accident, which CBS acquired.

Because of the consideration to Prince Williams and Harry,who are her sons,and the characteristic of the accident, these kind of photos had not been gone to public.

Two impression,

First is sadness. Why people want to see such sad,misery photos.
Second is disgust. The authority in UK and France have to disclose the truth about this accident ( or assasination?) as soon as possible. But they won't,I suppose.

Thanks for the information. Right before this, I've totally forgot Diana's centurial drastic death.

I don't know where you got the source for this but I say, it's very likely to be true for those unpublished pix. Years gone by, and as most others have forgot this event, the aftermath effects sure have weakened out for anybody involved in this historical incident and then, some of the "then" confidential or classified documents would leak out to somebody and circulate among those interested.

What's so special about Diana?
She was only a photogenic woman who revelled in the limelight, just as many Hollywood people do.
I don't see anything wrong with showing pictures of her car accident. She wanted to be the centre of attention and she got her wish, even this long after her death.

i dont think Diana was a special person,but she was just a usual person except for having gotten overwhelmed in a complicated fate "on public".
And i dont want to see photos of such normal person's dead body on TV.

Diana was a rich divorced mother of two, which liked to play the politician with a big heart. Yet, beside working the mine case in Cambodia she did nothing else�. But to wear expensive dresses and jewelries� spending vacation on yachts� and palaces....
