we chinese have been in the world for 5000 years
We were born near the Yellow River
and in our history, we had been great
during the dynisty of Tsing, we became weaker
but our 5000-year-old culture have saved
we believe, we were the best in the world,
and we will be the best _________________ Hello! |

I am also proud of my great country China. But by the way, we should be objective, although we had a resplendence and greatness in the past. Since we are not strong enough nowadays, we should unite together to build our bright future again instead of being proud. No matter how, China will definitely be the leader of the world in the future, and it's not far. |

Every Chinese will love Chinese Culture.
It is too long too much, I think.
The person who doesn't be proud of his or her country, he or she is not a good one.
I like Chinese Culture, there are too many for me to learn!
While, I also believe that in the near future, Chinese charecter will popular in the world, just like English today. |

Why do 1.3 billion Chinese people allow a handful of leaders to abuse them, lie to them, steal their rights, etc. Are the Chinese the weakest people in the world? Why don't they rise up and change things? Are they that weak or ignorant? It's hard to believe that they really want to live under such a terrible system. There must be something wrong with the Chinese mind to believe the lies and follow the tyrants that they have in power without trying to do something about it. The Chinese will never rule the world...they are not rulers they are followers. (just look at their manufacturing and economy 99% of it is based on copying and stealing products). |

I know I'm going to get called a Red for this one, but I read this in a book that explains Chinese culture for tourists and foreigners planning to work there. While the system isn't perfect in any way, it has improved living standards over time and staved off mass suffering and starvation. (Excepting the period of the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, which was a true frcas.) According to the book, the Chinese would rather accept this controlled economic system and repressive political climate, than gamble on democracy and lassez-faire capitalism, which holds the possiblity to enrich or create a more abject variety of poverty. To some extent, can we really sit here and blame them, considering the sheer quantity of people they have? The book is something like "China: Culture Shock" (part of a series), if you don't believe me. |
