I taught English in a Muslim country for 2 years and I saw a lot of homo activity among the men. I'm an average looking male and I had more than one or two propositions a month. And one friend pointed out what to look for....and I noticed the gay activity everywhere. Any ideas why there seems to be so many muslim men involved in homo activity? Could it be there strict sepreration of the sexes?

If being a moral muslim is beating and abusing women/your daugther/girlfriend, etc. having homo and animal s-x, hating every other differing view or lifestyle, and blowing yourself up along with innocent women and children. If that's being moral...then *beep* on the Koran and Muhammad is in hell waiting to greet all bombers with 70 gay and horny demons!

and you did not look to subject as a good searcher for truth. You just say things randomly without evidents and you have to approve what you said.
and every thing has bad and good things;and you mentioned bad things not in Islam but in Muslims.Because MUslims don't represent Islam.
AT least Muslims don't have adult TV channel and porn (stars) like America and west that means we have good moral.

what about this:

I live in a christian country since 22 years. And, after having a gay roommate who told me for what singns I have to look, I see gays everywhere.
But as far as I am concerned it has nothing to do with beeing christian or muslim or any other religious or cultural background. Nor has beeing gay its roots in the geogrphical position.
Having pornstars etc. is a product of what the community in which you live tolarates, and thus is a product of the ignorance of people who have high moral ideals but put them in a box to look at them every now and then.
What do you think about that?

TO have pornstars etc this is a sign of savage community and
the range of ignorance of these people who support them.But
what that man said about Muslim men is ,of course, not true.
He just wanted to say that Muslims have nothing to do , to think
of ,they achieve nothing , their culture is sexy one.LOok sex is everywhere and in any culture but when sex become a special
sign of a specific culture, it will fall down .
i think homo is found here and there but in different rate.

To be fair about this: If we can't judge all Muslim men by the actions of some, then it's also unfair to call Western culture completely immoral just because there are some porn stars and homosexuals. This is not to defend porn and the like, but the same standards should be applied to both cultures: that is, you can't condemn the whole for the actions of some.

Salaam Aleckum. I am an American and I have lived in the Arabian Gulf, 2 years in Oman and visited KSA in 1998. I speak Arabic, have read the Koran and don't hate Arabs or Muslims.

When I read your posts, I wonder if you have ever left your own country or have any experiences with non-Muslims. You accuse Jasper of never having lived in a Muslim country, but you seem to know all about the US and other western countries without having traveled outside of the KSA yourself. Perhaps it is that you are young and still have much to learn.

In Western countries, we have the freedom to choose our lifestyle. Because some choose to enjoy pornography does mean that everyone, or even most people, watches porno. If you don't want to watch porno, you can choose not to. The key word here is "choose". In a free society, we make efforts to trust ourselves to take personal responsibilty for our choices and prefer not to have the government or any other group tell us what we can and cannot do with our personal lives. This is constant disagreement in our countries over these issues, so YOU must try to understand that your thinking is "stereotyped" and very narrow. I see that you like to post extended "research" on these sites, so try to broaden your knowledge, do some traveling (if you are allowed to), and seek understanding rather than conflict.

We in the West are not all a bunch of alcohol swilling, pornography watching baby killers, just as all Muslim men are not homosexual terrorists. We all have something to teach each other if we would only be willing to listen to each other

I agree with you, Purna. There are both good and bad people in both the West and the East. And an entire group of people should not be judged on the actions of a few.
