what's the meaniong of " sweet surrender" in the following lyric ? thanks in advance !

---------------------

Bressanone

Here I stand in Bressanone / With the stars up in the sky
Are they shining over Brenner / And upon the other side
You would be a sweet surrender / I must go the other way
And my train would carry me onward / Though my heart would surely stay / Oh my heart would surely stay

Now the clouds are flying by me / And the moon is on the rise
I have left the stars behind me / They were diamonds in your skies
You would be a sweet surrender / I must go the other way
And my train will carry me onward / Though my heart would surely stay / Oh my heart would surely stay

Song lyrics are always tough to interpret, but I'm guessing that this is a rock or pop song, so an explicitly sexual theme is possible. "Sweet surrender" is used to refer to the moment when a girl, after refusing the sexual advances of her boyfriend, decides to accept them--hence "surrender" to him. The "sweetness" is, well, fairly clear (at least to the boyfriend).

The correctness of this interpretation is confirmed by the lyrics that follow. References to "the train" are commonly used to indicate the sexual intercourse (think of a train going through a tunnel) in songs, movies, and other popular culture outlets.

Of course, I could be wrong, but it's a reasonable interpretation.
