Hi there,

Thanks for viewing my post!

Since my interests included cultural exchange with people from other countries, I used several penpal-websites. I got some good penpals both of female and male there, but most of them stopped writing in two or three months...I also rejected the people looking for romance though.
And I realized that expecting a long-term relationship with penpal is not a good idea.

What do you everyone think?
If you have experience on this kind of thing, I would like to hear your stories.

Regards,

yubari Surprised

I myself have been lucky. I have had about 25 penpals, and 22 still write to me. It has been 7 months, so I'm really happy about it! The best way for you to guess if you have chosen a good penpal is to read their profiles. If they give three words, it shows that they aren't really that interested. Look for long detailed profiles, and I'd be shocked if they stopped replying.
Look at http://www.teaching.com/keypals/ That is where I got all of my penpals.
Good luck!
