I don't want to start a new discussion about this fact, but ... you call your country "America", just this country! Your country has a name nad, of course, it isn't "America" but United States of America. If you find it a bit large, call it US or USA. I'm not American... I mean, I don't live in that continent, but I think that it an awuful idea to mix these names... _________________ Para sentir no bastan cinco sentidos... |

Does it really matter whether I use America, or US, or USA? There are times I use the name "America" and other times I use "US." I assume you know that I am referring to the United States of America. Nevertheless, if it bothers you that much, I will use the the name "US." You are correct. It is a much shorter abbreviation. |

Yes, it matters. How would you feel if all your country was called, for instance, Nevada?.... _________________ Para sentir no bastan cinco sentidos... |

Huh? Oinrocinu, as far as I know, there is only one group of people who call themselves "Americans" and it's the citizens of the United States. People in Canada don't call themselves "Americans" and always refer to their country as Canada despite that they are part of North America. It is only people in Europe who usually see the word "America" as applying to both North and South America. Perhaps, some Europeans may even see Canadians as part of America, but that conception is actually false. The Canadians are actually part of NORTH America. |

I'm mathematician... and the set theoru says that "a part of one set is inside this set", i.e., North America is a part of America.... Well, I said that I didn't want to discuss it.
I have an English exam in 10 minutes!!! _________________ Para sentir no bastan cinco sentidos... |

Ah the mathematical mind...Didn't that give us the atom bomb?
Thanks.
When I refer to "America" I always mean the USA.
If I mean South America I say so.
If I mean the USA and its client, Canada, I call it North America.
If I mean North and South America, I say "The Americas." |

Diana you have the absolute right to defend your country and its policy , that's your opinion , but dissenting others should not be rather sketchy you have to analyze things and go beyond bla bla bla .
Concerning your question on the Iraqi oil resources , I would like you to analyze carefully these figures on this table . What I would like you to realize , as I previously wrote , is that the whole game is played for oil and only for oil , forget about the liberation of the Iraqi people, this is an old song and we all know HERE that neither Bush nor other previous US Presidents want to liberate even a political prisoner in the Arab World .
THE WORLD'S OIL KNOWN RESERVES
( in billions of Barrels )
SAUDI ARABIA 259
CANADA 180 (including Tar sands )
IRAQ 112
KUWAIT 94
Iran 90
VENEZUELA 78
RUSSIA 60
USA 22 ( past peak production in 1970 )
CHINA 18
Norway 10 ( past peak production )
Source : Oil and Gas Journal December 2002
OK now compare the US oil resources and the Iraqi ones .
Part of the game was of course the so-called Iraqi WMD ? HERE Again I would like to refer you to what the Israeli engineer Fanounou declared as he has recently been released from his 18-year isolated prison . He said that Israel nuclear Weapons stored in the Nejev in the south of Israel are
a real disaster on the whole world not only in the Middle East . Do you think that one day UN inspectors will even tread on the land of Israel .
MAY BE ONE DAY BUSH IS GOING TO DECLARE WAR ON ISRAEL TO DESTROY THOSE WAEPONS HA HA HA HA . |
