I am guessing that you are from China or some part of Asia.

Do not be afraid to speak English to English-speaking foreigners. They most likely can speak no Chinese, (or Japanese, Korean, etc.,) or very little and will be very grateful and relieved to find someone who can help them in their own language.

If you make errors in grammar they will not think you are uneducated. All of us know that English grammar is an innocent looking minefield but we all have to tiptoe through it.

Good luck.

Hi Vladimir and Irxiang

Irxiang, you can follow the piece of advice given here by Vladimir. He is certainly an authority in this field. I remember one thing: I was in England a few years backwards with a Japanese woman who had a French education and during all this period we only spoke in English with certainly plenty of mistakes. So don't worry so much and try to practice increasingly
