I was told that the use of phrasal both in writing and speaking shortens what you want to say and is better because is easier to understand. However I don't use them and I would need some help to activate it.
Do you know some text or a site where I can find some information online about phrasals?
My teacher has suggested to me reading "Practice with idioms" by Ronald E. Feare but I haven't got an issue yet.

I don't think its's easier to understand the meaning of the verb, but with them I think you will be able to show a wide choice of feelings depending on different situations. You will be able to find a list of them in a classical alphabetical order here on this site.
