I need to decide where to take a class for some months. Two options of mine are a local community college and some institution like KAPLAN. From my knolwedge, there is no considerable difference in cost. As a beginner in English speaking, I think I need a good care for my progress. What would you recommend? I hope you guys could give me a good advice. Thanks.

Being an ex-Kaplan teacher in Chicago, I think you will find a significant difference between Kaplan and some other alternatives, in terms of price or quality or both. What city do you want to study in? If it's Chicago, check out the following sites:
