Do your senses tell you there is a god who had a son born of an earthly woman? |

i suppose the christian response would point out that a virgin-born son of god was not for gods' benefit but to rescue the human race, and victory of the seed of woman over the serpent satan was planned long before either mary or joseph were born. but i am not a theologian.
yes, we do have to trust our senses. they are wonderful gifts. but we all know that they have limitations and must be checked and crosschecked with our other experiences and those of people around us. to receive, ask. to find, seek. if you want the door open, knock... _________________ coffeedecafe |

no, my senses are not that brilliant. my senses tell me that there is an allpowerful creator by looking at creation. and my senses tell me that looking for answers inside myself is an impossible quest because i do not have the whole equation. that son of an earthly woman was predicted and described in very ancient records long before his birth _________________ coffeedecafe |
