He also wrote, " I hope we can email some while now that you will back in Japan"
What does "some while" mean? Does it mean "for a while"? ...but I just backed in Japan and I think I will not visit NYC again for a year or maybe for a couple of years....
According to his last email, he is thinking about traveling to Japan or Europe in a couple of months. He is not sure where he is going to travel.

I hope we can email (each other) SOMETIMES now that you are back in Japan.
Is what he means.
In other words he wants to keep in touch with you by email, even though you are back in Japan.
He appears to be having difficulty with his tenses.

yes, it looks like he wrote you a quick reply, and his thoughts were going faster than his typewriter. i have to read my work over to avoid the same thing.
if you understood each other face to face, you will be able to do as well on e-mails. and it will be practice for both of you.

Thank you obelix and coffeedecafe .
That makes sence. We sometimes email each other.
I hope we understand each other on email as well. We are trying at least. Thank you, coffeedecafe
