Let's get together for a drink or two soon.
We had a family get-together last week. (informal meeting)
Think about that, when you are married, getting together with old drinking buddies after work may not be permitted by your new wife. |

Thank you.
Does it mean 'to meet with someone' or 'meeting'? |

A get-together is an informal gathering, so it is a meeting.
Let's meet = let's get together. same thing. |
