Nice to meet you, frankie. I am grad to make a friend who is from Taiwan. Please call me Ayumi.
Are there some seasons in Taiwan? In Japan, there are 4 seasons, winter ,spring , summer and autum. My most favorite season is spring, because we can see a lot of beautiful flowers. Most beautiful flower is cherry blossoms.Do you know this flower? This flower is Japanese symbol. If you come to Japan, I recommend that you come here at the beginning of April. You would see a lot of cherry blossoms.

What is your special subject of your study in university? Do you have a dream? I want to know about yourself and your country Surprised

Hello, ayumi, frankie is back! I am glad to receive your message so quickly! Yes, there are also four seasons in taiwan, and each one has its characteristic. I am not sure which one is my favorite season. Spring is the time plants start to grow and thrive, and everything is going back to its position, and a lot of tree and plant will be blossom at this time, like you said, cherry blossom, how beautiful it is. Summer means lot of fun, you can go swimming, sunbathing and lots of interesting activities. Fall let me think of the Happy mid-autumn festival, which is the important festival in our chinese calendar! We often have a happy beginning at the fall. Winter is the time many families go back and get reunion. I think maybe i like summer much more!

Thanks for your brief introduction for your country, i like it. About my major, it's criminology, do you know about it? I choose it for my major beacause i like psychology. Human is a very interesting topic for me. How about my english ability so far? Not bad, right! This is my last year in school, i am going to graduate ,and i feel so nervous because i don't have any confident of myself. I don' t study very hard, but i will keep improving. I will take national exams and our english text or TOEFL in this last year or after graduation. I come from a normal and not rich family, my family is harmony and happy. I am first child in my family and i have two sibling. I am a optimistic boy, friendly, and like to help people. Reading and exercise are my enthusiasm, that is all about my personal ads. If you wanna know other things, tell to me.

Taiwan once was a beautiful island in the world, like the portuguese called, formosa, which means the beautiful and green island, but it changes a lot due to the blamed industry and unethical people. Not long ago our government started to notice it and did a lot of helps to save our environment. Although the news said there're a lot of pollutions, it's still a good place to go. I feel a little sad, ok, that is all, have a good day. Wait for your reply!

Thank you ,frankie! You are majour is very interesting. I think that phychology is very important for 21st century because a lot of people have mental problems.
As for me, my major is English. But I also take other classes for my refinement. history, bussiness computing, philosophy, art etc・・・・・

I also worry about environment. I love nature ,so I really want to protect our planet. Personally, I think that education is the most important to solve such a problem. I would like to be a educator.
In Taiwan, is there a popular job among young people? In Japan, many girls hanker for a flight attendant. Boys , especially children , wish to be a baseball player,Maybe・・

Actually, I have a colledge campus festival in next month. I am going to sing a song this time. So, I'm very busy recently because of practice for festival and study.
I have a SAT test this weekend , so I can not reply your or others ' message immediately. But next week I will come back here Very Happy
Have a nice weekend!!!See you later!!!!!

Hello, ayumi:
Frankie is back again! Glad to hear from you again. And for your Q, i think the boys' favorite job is the computer engineer, as you know, the computer is the most handsome technology nowadays. For the girl, i think maybe media or national job. And for me, i think i would like to find a job related about the language someday. This is my passion.

And what is the SAT? Is it the english test? I don't know about it, please tell me. Yes, you are right, more education will let the environment more beautiful! More eduacation will bring more ethical people! I hope so!

Becides, Do you still wanna contact with me in this website? How about let's change to use email? Both is ok for me, but i never contact with a friend here, i am a little bit excited!

Have a nice festival, ayumi! Do you know our national day(double tens) is going to come in this sunday, i am so happy because there will be the firework display near our school, i haven't watch the firework for a long time since i am little. I would like to go if time is free. It must be crowded with a great amount of people over there! And the firework display will take at least one hour, i think!

School is ok now, i have to review a lot of book and read a lot of new material this semester. Look like i will be very busy. I will go jogging later after i send this mail.

In taiwan we don't have the woman university, i am curious about your school. All are coeducation, but i know we have the boy and girl senior high schools. I never went to single gender school, it must be a big different from the coeducation. How do you feel about them? But i think the coeducation is better than the single gender! Ok that is all, wait for you mail, seeya!

Nice to meet you, too, glenda! My major is also English.
In China, can most colledge studensts speak English? As for Japan, most people can not speak English well because of educational system. I studied reading and grammer a lot in junior high school, but I could not learn how to speak English. However I went to high school which there were many teachers who came from America and England. So, I was able to practice speaking English. But a lot of high scool students in Japan do not have enough oppotunity to speak .

glenda, one of my friends went to Beijing two weeks ago. He said that China was very interesting for him. He enjoyed trip very much!

frankie , I want to reply to your question!I go to a women's junior college now. Personally I think that both coeducation and women's junior colledge have good advantages.
Of course , it is important for us to communicate several people. If I cammunicate many women not boys every day , my mindedness will be narrow. However, my colledge is a two - year colledge.
So, I do not worry about that my mindedness becomes narrow.
I can concentrate on studying , soI find some fulfillment in my colledge. In addition, in my colledge there is a curriculum to think about how to contribute to world peace, especially as a woman.
For example, a woman's leader who works in UNISEF came my colledge and give us a lecture.
In 20th century, most leader in the world were men. But 21st century , we need leaders both man and woman. Many women have a potential feeling that they hate killing and war, because they bear children. However, I know that many men also hope to make world peace. So, I want to cooperate together!!!!!

hi frankie
i read newspaper every day and pay attaintion to the two- strait affair, but i think it will not hamper our relationship, let's lay it aside or leave it to our governments. there are some tanwanese student in our university and sometimes we play basketball or football together, but it is rare and we don't know each other. one of my former classmates is studying in UK. he told me he can meet tanwanese student every day ,and what's more , some tanwanese has become his best friends and they have so many common topic that they will get together every saturday night.

it is hard to chat with foreigners face to face, because of the time zone
if possible, i think we can chat just like ordinary friends who we kown via QQ.

The Japnese and Chinese should know more about each other. For Chinese, the history is a big problem between China & Japan. We like Japanese friends, but we hope the Japan government give the Asia a clear answer to the history. I know some Japanese friends. They know the history problem. And they hope to do something for it. I think the friendship would help all of us to resolve some problems and make the world more beautiful.

Hello, ayumi and other good friends:
I glad to see you join our board, glenda, bike, billy, umano! Have a big fun over here! Ayumi, lookslike some good friends want to join us and make our board happier, right? But i am afraid that i don't have enough time to talk to you over here or other place. Nowadays i just want to have a fun here! Friends, sorry about that!

Ayumi, school now is fine, the sport meeting is going to come, i am so excited, i will join the cross country race, i want to compete with my old record, 24 minutes and 4.5 km. I remember i felt very tiring after the race, however, i really like the feeling after the exercise. I still go jogging regually now, i wish i won't be a book warm in the school. Also, i want to take more pictures during that time, the sport meeting will be come on the end of the Octorber, i can't wait for it!
And what is SAT? It seems familiar to me, it is one kind of english proficiency exam? Please tell me about that! Last week my teacher, who had studied in japanese for a long period of time, said that the japanese people are very quiet in the class and theater, is that true? I am curious about that!

And bike, thanks for your words. I like it, yes, the two-strait situation is quite hard for us, maybe not, i don't know, let's just put it aside and have a fun here. Taiwanese people is very polite, generous, friends, and a little bit lazy! I like taiwan, i like live here and enjoy the atmosphere here. Once you have time and money, be sure to come here and i will take you to enjoy here! I really admire the china students ' studying spirit, I heard from the news, they are so hardworking! I wish i could be like that!

And glenda, thanks for your quickly reply, i really appreciate it, i had left some messages about taiwan here, do you see them? But this messages are for my deer ayumi, I think i don't have time to mail you, sorry about that. You could talk to me over here!
