I'm a Taiwanese.
Stinky tofu is speacial food in Taiwan, it's appearance jusk like tofu,the smell is not very well,but it's very delicious.In Taiwan is popular food.
Stinky tofu cook with fermented tofu,it's can be fried and steamed,and add some kimchi, very delicious.
If you have a chance to visit Taiwan,you must give it a try.

Tofu is traditional food in Japan, too. It's very healthy and very delicious!
In Japan, We put soy sauce on tofu. Some people flavor with spices. For
example, chives, dried bonito shavings, ginger,etc.
In winter, I often eat tofu boiled with kelp and dressed with soy sause.

delicious but smell bad.

The color of stinky tofu may be different. In HK, it is a golden-yellow square but with several sauces on it that looks "horrible". In some provinces in China like GuangDong and JianXi, its color is grey-back.
