Taiwanese eats Tangyuan or Yuanxiao in Lantern Festival. Many people yhink that Tangyuan and Yuanxiao are the same food. Tangyuan and Yuanxiao are resemblance, but they are different.
Tangyuan look like a white little ball. It's made of sticky rice with fillings such as sesame, or peanut butter, or red bean paste.
Yuanxiao look like a white little ball, too. First, People uses red bean paste, peanut butter, sesame adds sugar to make farces. Then, people make the forces to become little ball. They moisten the force balls and throw it in a big dish. There is much sticky rice flour in the dish. People make the force balls to roll in the dish. Force balls will full with sticky rice flour in effect.
People usually eat poached Tangyuan, and eat fried Yuanxiao.
