hehe, asterix, could you tell me how many people died and injured in the 1992 Los angeles riots ?
I want to tell you that every country has denied the mass riots despite what his name is and how democratic he considers himself.

The USA has never denied the riots in Los Angeles, so apart from the fact that you are too lazy to do any research, what's your point?

The L.A. riots weren't even a protest against the government. They had to do with a court decision pardoning police officers in the L.A. Police Department. Besides, most of the rioters used the court case as an excuse to loot stores and cause chaos.

I hardly think the L.A. riots are comparable to asterix's point.

Wherever the riot happens, the same thing will come on.That is why it is forbidden by all governments which also include your government,my government, the PLO,etc.
Do you think if it is more comparable now to asterix's point?

A riot does not equal a protest. A riot must be stopped to protect the people. If there is a dangerous protest, yes, the government should stop it. But if people are protesting peacefully, our government's constitution says that they must be allowed to do so.

Pardon the interruption, but I believe the English term you are looking for is "rose-colored glasses". The idea being, when you look through them, everything appears to be the color of a beautiful red rose garden.

Generally,I agree with you.A positive protest whatever it protests for sometimes turns into a riot due to nothing the government do.When a riot formed, however,it is too late to stop it.It is intractable.

I believe the law in the USA says that you have the right to "Peaceful assembly". Although there may be a lot of cops at these peaceful assemblies, they do not open fire on the crowd.
