hallo,
I found this phrase in the article of a interior design magagine.
" Your home is is what you make of it. Make the interior warm and inviting with well done-up and aesthetically furnished rooms. So much so that you feel it's nice to get home and put your feet up"
Could any one explain the phrase "so much so that" ?
Is it 'so much so + that' or 'so much + so that'?
Thanks in advance |

So much so that you feel it's nice to get home and put your feet up
To me this is a slightly strange choice of phrasing but.....
the grouping is...
so much so that + you feel it's nice to get home and put your feet up.
a little explanation: 'so much so that' is a phrasal expresssion meaning to such an extent that...
so this passage is saying that you should decorate and furnish your rooms in a way that makes you feel comfortable.
Hope this helps
