What do you think about smoking with a walk?
I think it's dangerous.
Especially for children or dogs.
Therefore, I want to forbid smoking except a smoking place. |

I think it`s dangerous for smokers in every place. For children it`s dangerous in every place where they see smoking because it forms a potential habbit in their brains, children start doing what adults do.
I think smoking should be forbidden in places where children spend their time: on school-yards, children parks, so they wouldn`t smoke this disgasting and harmful smell.
Forbidden everywhere? I think this is bad because smokers would get agressive, and what about they rights. We should limit places for smoking bit by bit. And government should propagand a health life-style, since primary schools. |

In California smoking is forbidden in public buildings. Regulations exist to limit alcohol consumption in public places including parks. When i visited Moscow last year it was very exasperating. Every park was filled with people smoking and drinking hard liquor.
Attitudes vary around the world about the acceptability of smoking. I do not skoke, and find it to be a disgusting habit. It has been said that kissing a smoker is like licking an ashtray....Michael........ _________________ A future English teacher from California. |

Thank you for your opinions.
I saw that the consciousness to smoking changes with countries.
I think that it has big influence on children, too.
It does not change that smoking has damage.
Therefore, I want everybody's consciousness to change little by little. |

Mjbinsanjose, you saw the smallest problem in Moscow about russian children. Russian children have been spoiled by mass-media. All TV advertise beer during all the day, and the consupmtion of beer by children was increased very much for last years. |

I do agree smoking should be banned in public places. I don't understand why people smoke. To be frank, I don't think people who smoke look smarter or trendier. ( It is what the advert depicts) Besides, the smell comes from the cigarette is stink! Thanks God! Nowadays, most countries are aware of the harm from smoking. Law has been implemented to restrict smokers smoking in public places or smoke only in a smoking area. I think smoking with a walk should be banned too because youngsters will not easily learn from adults who smoke. |

I'm happy to say that I am an ex-smoker, meaning that I don't smoke anymore. The habit, when it was there clearly was bad not only for me, but also to those around me too
I realize what kind of a stinker I was and am happy to say that I haven't smoked now for 3 weeks. I feel great ! |

Hi Toninho,
Congratulate to your decision! To quit smoking is not an easy task, you need extra-strength to resist temptation. Once temptation comes, you tell yourself that you are the one who control your life. I think temptation will gradually disappear.
And you will be more satisfied with yourself because you are the master of your life but not your desire. |

i never smoke, never think smoking cigarettes is cool, never feel tempted by the idea that smoking helps go dieting... but also i don't think smoking is THAT poisonous that ppl get hurt in every little inhale of some random second-hand smoke. well, smoking is definitely not a very elegant habit, but i still hold a very open attitudes towards ppl who smoke in public. that's totally okay for me at least.
and the simple reason for my non-smoking is basically because i hate being addicted to things. staying as free and independent as possible is always far more attractive and important to me than any of those addictive pleasures ... |

I totally agree with you, Wetsmile. One who can get free of anything and be the master of oneself is the happiest man in the world. |

Hi, I just read your forms, and I really think smorking is too bad.
I never smoking cigarettes until this summer, but I began to smoking at last. The reasons are following;
During the summer, I worked at amuzument park in awful hot day, so I pushed the button of smoking dispenser for get rid of my stresses!
Now, I'm trying to quit it, but I cannot!!
In Japan, there are many people who is smoking, but we have smoking zone. Most of all people obey manners in there, but a few people do not obey.
A pack of cigarettes' cost have been rised, but still smorker do not disapper...
I think, if no one can smoking in Japan, the goverment will get a big influence because of tobacco tax.
There will be nothing to enjoy with secret fund for Japanese stupid politicians...
Anyway, what I should to do is to quit smorking!!

Hi. I am university student in Japan. I think smoking has no good.
Smoking injured oneself, and whats more, especially it injured other people health.
I dont allow this action.
Cigarette has no merits. I want smoker to give up smoking.
Grown man!! Shame on yourself!
What do you think? |
