hello there. i was just searching on google for japanese people to talk with so i could learn, and i got here! i went to japan this summer, and i have to say, japanese game shows are so funny. i died laughing at some of them. anyway, i just wanted to say hi, and if you want to talk, my aim sn is SSJSonGotenEXE, and my msn messenger is [email protected]
you dont have to talk in english or teach me the language, i will just try to pick it up. this one guy i talked to said he learned 8 languages fluently doing this. [they were all closely related languages though of course Wink ]
but a main reason for me wanting to learn japanese is cause i want to talk to my grandma, i want to watch anime Razz , and because it is COOL. Very Happy i already know the basics, since my mom taught me some when i was little.

さよなら!! lol. people hardly use that word anymore : D

Hiya,

I'm an American College Student (Far Eastern International Buisness Major), I don't know if I belong in this forum but, hey... why not, lol.

Just out of curriosity, has anyone else ever taken classes in english and then taken a break for summer only to find out they forgot just about everything they learned? I'm taking Japanese for some odd reason thats what it feels like for me... Oh and how much do you guys study? I bet that's my problem. *continues to babble nonsence because he cant think of the actual reason he started to post*

Oh! I remember... tell me if i said this right, please.

Hajimemashi-te,
Boku wa jeisunsan. nihongo o benkyou shi-te iru no wa amerikajin no ichinensei desu. Boku no daigakou no sensei wa yasashiku nai desu ga boku wa nihongo ga jyouzu ja arimasen. sumimasen. *huge gasp*

BTW: this forum bleeped my "Hajimemashi-te" when i wrote it with out the "-"... I'm preety sure everyone knows what it's supposed to say and that its not a curse word sooo...
