Today,Dec 13,is the Commemorating Day for Victims of Nanjing massacre, for the purpose of commemorating the 300,000 victims who were brutally massacred in Nanjing by Japan troops in Dec,1937.

Wherever you come from, let's gather our minds and stand in silent tribute to the victims, pary that never happens again.

And thanks to the Americans, they put an end to World War II when they bombed Japan.

The Allies deserve the credit for defeating Germany, Italy, and Japan, but it was America who deserves the credit for ending the war and rebuilding the war-torn countries including Japan. It was their atomic bomb that caused an end to the war and their money that rebuilt half of Europe and Japan.

England, Germany, France and most of Europe were bankrupt after the war.
American money rebuilt them all, but it seems that only England remembers.

Should I remind you about what you have done to us during the Opium War every times when I talk to you?

I agree, Element. As I pointed out in my previous post, the DEFEAT of Germany, Italy, and Japan goes to the credit of the entire Allies, which includes the Soviet Union and China. However, the credit of ENDING World War II and rebuilding the war-torn countries of Europe and Japan goes to the credit of America alone. World War II was ended with the dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki by the Americans. Their new weapon brought an end to World War II. And it was America's money that rebuilt almost half of Europe and Japan.
