Hello,

Wink In your culture, How do people greet each other? I know that

Chinese, Japanese, and Koreans bow, and Thais bow their heads while

holding their hands in a prayer like position.

I am a Muslim girl, in my culture people shake hands, but they follow up

by touching their heart with their right hand to indicate that they are

greeting you “from the heart.”

What about the greeting in your culture? Tell us about it?

Very Happy "Smile" greeting to you Very Happy

I'm sure almost everyone knows how Americans greet each other by now...through the movies and by other means. We're usually quite informal, if young people are greeting their peers, they usually just say "hey!" or "what's up?" If they want to be polite or formal, they might shake each others hands and tell them "Nice to meet you". Sometimes men simply nod their heads when they greet or make eye contact with someone they don't know very well, if at all. Of course, what I have said is from my experience only, there is a lot of variety.
