hi,sherryyen
i like listen nearly all kinds of music, classic music, light music, pop, R&B, rock. but i don't like electronic music, they like a voice of machine.
i have never listened a opera, i think most of it are singing in English, maybe i don't understand the story. could you tell me something about opera, why you like it?

dear jackie,
opera is just like a story, but the difference between them is one has music when they are saying something but the other doesn't. opera is interesting and the music they play(sing) is extraordinary.
maybe you can try to listen to opera one day, you don't have to understand what they sing or what they play, just degust to what you have heard.and there are not only English will sing in an opera but also Italian or many kinds of langues.

hello,
i know it is difficult to learn Chinese but it is also interesting to learn because Chinese has a lot of meaning in every words. it is usual for a person that forget what he or she had learned but it is OK you just have to practice it more. And i believe that you will learn Chinese a swell as you want.
