Korea has two different New Year's days according to solar and lunar calendars. But we think the lunar New year's day that more important than solar New year's day.
We wear Korean traditional clothes, remember our ancestors, and have a celebration for ancestor worship before breakfast.
After breakfast, we play a traditional Korean game.
We wear Korean traditional clothes only especial day. The Korean traditional clothes is long so that is can cover every part of the body.
The Korean traditional clothes's name is 'hanbok'.
It's very beautiful and pretty. Hanbok has only curve line. It's not straight line. Also, Hanbok can express one's social position.

Hi, I come from china, about the traditional clothes, both"Hanbok"and"Kimono" are all beautiful.
however, there are 56 nationalities in our country, and the minority-ties have its own custom and traditional clothes.furthermore, when encounter festival, for example ,Chinese New Year ,different districts have its own differents special celebration.
Well, In my memory, special clothes also meet in native opera.
for example.maybe you have heard about 'Peking opera',all the actors dress different clothes, although these clothes singular, but it really interesting and attractive.
well,if you glad to know further, pls. feel free to contact me.

By the way, I'm older than you, still a girl. |

Korean traditional clothes are very flowery and superb. when I watch some Korean movies, I often see this kind of clothes on some Korean wedding.
In my eyes, Korean traditionsl clothes of girls are very charming, but boys' are kinda funny
and one more viewpoint: I think Korean girls are more good-looking than Korean boys, ain't they? |
