In the past, English language is not necessary for everyone but today English language is very important, especially for communicate in daily life. People have different abilities on their English skill. Some of them can speak English while some of them can speak English fluently because of their practice when they were young. In my opinion, Thai students whom complete their English studies cannot use English language for communicate with other for 2 reasons.
First, Lots of Thai students have been studied English in the wrong way because Thai students beginning with the English writing. Actually Thai students should study speaking first. Studying grammatical English skill is less important than speaking.
In case of contacting to foreigner.
Second, Lots of Thai students are not interested in English language. Some of them think that English is not necessary for them, so they are not interested in English. When they have to speak English, They begin to practice their English speak skill, so they can not speak English fluently.
In conclusion, Thailand needs more fluent English speakers. They should pay attention to English speaking. The government should improve their students to practice English speaking more than grammatical writing. I think, it is good opportunity for who are good at speaking English.
Do you think speaking English is important?

and in learing english, i like to point out a few important thing in advance.
1.language should not be treated as like formular in math
For example, when some asian student start to encounter new phrase or expressions, they tend to rely on them too much. as a result, lack of vocabulary becomes a main problem in speaking with americans
Dont use same patterns learned from ur textbook again and again. Try a new expressions or alternative ones.
2. Unless u understand culure first( in other words, know what english speaker think; way of thinking), most of our speaking cant help but be copied from old, out of date, seldom using in america sentence.
Quite sad......at least the people who wrote textbook for us should have considered that or review again not to frustrate us here
