Once again Arafat and his henchmen are trying to derail an initiative that will bring peace to the region on favourable terms for the Palestinians.
It is high time this hate filled murderer was brought to trial for his crimes and the Palestinians were given a chance to live in peace and prosper.
Arafat is the problem. |

I read that the Palestinians have a new PM named Abbas. Do you think he would be more effective than Arafat? I read that he is trying to get the Hamas to stop sending suicide bombings, but Israel would prefer that Abbas have them locked up in jail. Sharon also haven't agreed to the Roadmap and has some reservations about it, which he wants to discuss to President Bush. However, Bush did say that the roadmap is "non-negotiable." It would be interesting to see if Bush can actually get these two to establish peace. Right now, they can't even go a week without a ceasefire. |

I believe Abbas would like to stop the suicide bombers because, if he does, there will be a peace in the Middle East. On the other hand Arafat, who has been a terrorist all his adult life, is still encouraging Hamas and company to carry out their attacks.
Arafat is trying to undermine Abbas and there is a power struggle going on among the Palestinians.
The King of Jordan, meanwhile, is the ruler of the land that was supposed to be Palestine, but the world seems to have forgotten that as it all happened more than 15 minutes ago. |

So do I, and my press isn't controlled by the government.
Arafat keeps saying he hopes he dies a martyr. All he has to do is walk out the door and start shooting at Israelis. Then he will die a martyr, but he is a coward and sends young men and women to do his dirty work, while he cowers inside.
It is because of him that the Palestinians are in their present condition. Israel has had many prime ministers - Palestinians have only had Arafat.
Do the math. |

OH MY GOD
you are the perfect example of the product of the amrico-israeli media
ok,for sorry you don't know any thing about what is going on in the Middel East?
being a middle eastern,i will tell the truth at least from my point of view.
but first i thinkyou should know that here in Egypt we are not live in George Orwell's 1984(1) or his Big Brother(2)
furthermore, the freedom in Egypt is by far laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarger than what you speak about, may be we are not like the west ,but we really have a good sapce of freedom.that's clear in our media
You can criticize any one from the most minor clerk to the prime minister that in media
of course government media wouldn't crticize any member of the government
but the private channels do.
ok
No channel or newspaper can criticize or make fun of the president directly (who is completely accepted by US government)
ok
to be contiued... |

I saw Arafat (on Al Jazeera) say he hoped to die a martyr. The Israelis were all around him. He didn't even look outside but hid in his bunker. So his brave words were just words, and the man is a coward who has held his people back for close to fifty years.
Arafat is the problem. |
