Hi!
I wonder if there's a form in present simple for the expression "used to". I've been told a possibility was "be want to". E.g.:
I used to go to the shopping center - yeah, a quote by a woman
I'm want to go to the shopping center.
Are there other ways to do talk about common activities in my funny present?
See you! _________________ Sweet like Honey

My try:
I am want to go to the shopping center is wrong, but the following is correct, after consulting with a co-worker and on a good website, www.onelook.com:
wont
Definition 1. in the habit of; accustomed to.
Example He is wont to lie.

Very nice, BMO! Just beware, though, that wont is a word you are much more likely to see than hear. But your proposed usage is right on!!! |
