| It sounds to me like the philosphy of living like today might be your last. It's living life to the fullest, appreciating all you have in your life, because you might not be around tomorrow to enjoy it. So probably, Angel valued the things in her life. She didn't take things for granted. |

| To be grammatically correct I think it should be, "She lived as if she knew etc... |
