It naturally shifts us out of a too high gear. Repetitive motion brings feelings of saftely and satisfaction.
Could anyone define such *too high gear*? Sorry for the lack of context. |

If the context is about a vehicle, then it means that "it" keeps us from driving in a gear that is higher than it should be for our speed and driving conditions. Probably, though, the context has more of a human flavor. If so, then it means that "it" keeps us from being too hyperactive. |
