Even though the trip was momentary, it was heavenly.
1. very brief: lasting for a very short time
2. constant: present or happening at every moment
Could the word *momentary* both mean the 2 definitions?

Momentary means; lasting only a moment, or short-lived; transitory.
Your second definition is incorrect. |

I've never seen/heard it used with the second meaning, but some online dictionaries do have that definition. Still, if you used it for that meaning, I think few would understand you... (Asterix and me, for example). |
