It should be interesting and informative. If it were also fun, it would be even better.

University status probably shouldn't be based off of how fun it is but rather by the selection and quality of courses and then how well the teachers instruct. Fun is a factor that is perhaps unheard of in university, as its more for learning and not entertainment value.

That's the problem with universities.... No fun.
Why do lectures always have to be so boring?
The answer is, they don't; but it takes much more work and imagination on the part of the lecturer to make them fun.

I totally agree with you. If going to university was designed to be fun, then the admission age should be lowered to maybe 5 years old! A university is an educational institution for advanced academic study. If you don't agree, may be you should reconsider your academic options, or get some advice.

first of all, it must be humorous.

second of all, it must be new and creative. besides, the professor has to have good eloquence.

Now I am a medicine vice-professor as well as a physician, I know how to grasp my students' attentions.

when I was a college student, I liked some teachers who were not so good-looking, but very eloquent and funny, besides, another reason that they attracted my attention was their profound knowledge.
