b. Slowly, I worked well.
c. I worked better gradually.
d. I worked well gradually.
Are the above sentences grammatical and do they all mean: the way I worked improved slowly? |

They're all grammatical. The first two mean that your were more effective when working slowly. They address the pace at which you worked, rather than being statements about improvements over time. (At least that's how I would interpret them.) |
