Hello everybody, I'm a french student and I have to make an enquiry on the attitude of American and British People towards their accents. I need your help and point of view, I have 3 questions:
1) How would you describe or what are your feelings about the other accent and way of speaking , the british one if you are american and vice versa ?
2) Do you think british people and american people are really different? why?
3) Do you think american english has an influence over british english ? (through TV, music, ...) ?
Please tell me your age, and where are you from. thank you very much
goodbye!!! |

The various American regional accents are all easy to understand to someone from England.
The Brits and the Americans are not all that different, they share the same language & similar culture.
Yes; also vice-versa, and don't forget Australia.
\I live in Canada. I'm old enough to cross the road without my hand being held. |
