Ads on *op-ed* pages and lobbying of officials.

a newspaper page, usually opposite the editorial page, that features articles expressing opinion

Is an op-ed page usually on the third page? The first page is the front cover, second is the editorial page, third the *op-ed*?

Thanks

I think it depends on the newspaper. My paper's editorial and opinion pages are the two before the back page of the main section.

The first has the editorials and letters to the editor. The second has the opinion pieces and sometimes an ad expressing opinion. Even though there are two pages, I think it is still referred to as the Op-Ed page (singular).
